 try that has changed thousands of lives over 60 years of service – from 
 Victoria to Kamloops. Based in Abbotsford\, it desires to transform the li
 ves of individuals impacted by incarceration through Christian mentorship\
 , resources\, and opportunities.\nSteve Roukema\, its Executive Director\,
  will be our speaker on October 16. His previous experience in leadership 
 of nonprofits and 10 years of pastoral ministry has equipped him to lead t
 he committed staff of 14 and more than 130 volunteers. They mentor people 
 in prisons and help people leaving prisons to rebuild their lives in the c

 t calls us to see the people others often overlook. A simple visit\, a lis
 tening ear\, or a steady presence can become a source of hope for someone
