Where We Stand in Life

Pastor Axel Schoeber

Philippians 2:5-11

Pastor’s Message

Here are some wonderful thoughts for the New Year 2021 from Psalm 27.

  • 1:  The Lord is my light and my salvation – whom shall I fear?  The Lord is the stronghold of my life of whom shall I be afraid?
  • 5a:  For in the day of trouble, he will keep me safe in his dwelling.
  • 8:  My heart says of you, ‘Seek his face!’ Your face, Lord, I will seek.
  • 11:  Teach me your way Lod
  • 14:  Wait for the Lord; be strong and take hear and wait for the Lord

Blessings, Axel

Mid-Week Communion: we value your attendance at the 1pm Wednesday communion on Zoom.  However, we are evaluating the value of this time as participation has dwindled.  Please contact Jane at the church office to indicate your ongoing commitment if you intend to attend each week.

Reminder:  The Zoom service is recorded and available on the website.  Please stay muted unless requested to unmute.  Even slight noises can be heard and are difficult to edit.

Small Groups: Small Group details are on our church website.  Please click on MINISTRIES and then SMALL GROUPS.  Please contact Chris Kibble if you would like to join a small group.

Reminder and Thanks

We are thankful for those who donated to WVBC in 2020.  Your support of the ministries of our church are very much appreciated.  Once the year-end financials have been closed, tax receits will be made available.
