North Shore Emergency Management

Emergency Management, will provide a presentation that addresses the potential hazards that North Shore residents could face and bring suggestions on how to build household and community resilience. As a take-away from this event, Emily will show us how to create an emergency plan and kit and bring resources to help with the process of preparedness

Emily Dicken is the Director of North Shore Emergency Management (NSEM). NSEM is a tri-municipal agency that has provided emergency management services for the City of North Vancouver, District of North Vancouver, and District of West Vancouver since 1978. Serving the North Shore community through one office provides increased efficiencies and effectiveness for emergency management programs, an increased volunteer pool, and coordinated planning, response, and recovery strategies.
