Suffering for the Gospel

Paul continues to brief his protege, Timothy, on the realities of preaching the gospel.  And he wants Timothy to know that he will suffer for the gospel; but the suffering experience of Jesus, of Paul himself, and of Christian believers all indicate that suffering for the gospel produces great benefit.
