55-Plus lunch and speaker - March 20, 12noon to 2pm
Come and hear Kevin Faw talk about the work of the Royal Canadian Marine Search and Rescue, a volunteer-run organization that responds to emergencies on the water, 24/7. Kevin is the Training Officer and Station Leader of the crew based in Horseshoe Bay. It is made up of people from all walks of life who train diligently year-round to be ready to carry out rescues in Howe Sound and adjacent waters.
