Your decision to be baptized may be one of the most important you will make as a follower of Jesus Christ.
Baptism is a public and serious declaration of your surrender to the Lordship of Jesus Christ. It is the ritual and act of public ceremony, just like marriage.
When you are baptized, you are declaring your union with Jesus Christ and His people—your local church community.
