Poverty, illiteracy, and gender imbalance are the major problems that can be found among women in Rwanda. Those who rely solely on their husbands or traditional farming find their family struggling to meet their daily needs.
Women who have had access to vocational skills training are not only empowered to help contribute to their own family’s needs but also contribute to the development of the community in which they live. Your support will allow these programs to provide opportunities for women to grow their skills and ability to support themselves and their families, and for families to develop healthy and strong. These programs build hope for a better future, giving witness to the real-life Good News of Jesus.
