English Conversation Class

We’re starting Conversation Class again for fall!

Beginning:  Sunday, September 7

Time: 8:55-9:50 a.m.  (before our morning service)

Who is it for?    Anyone who wants to improve their English.

Conversation Class is a chance to develop English skills by practicing conversation together. There is both a beginner and intermediate level. All are welcome. It’s not a Bible study, but we’ll be using lessons based on the words of Jesus to learn vocabulary and develop reading, listening, and speaking skills. The lessons are designed to be welcoming not only for Christians but also for people who aren’t Christians (yet) but who are curious about who Jesus is.

We have less than an hour to finish our lesson, so please try to come early! 

Looking for a place to VOLUNTEER? We need some strong English speakers to help facilitate in a small group. No preparation is required (and you don’t have to be a native speaker). Just come and be a friendly listener and conversation partner. If you know how to smile and say, “John can you read the next question…?, you’re perfect for this ministry.  Please contact Diane Radant if you’d like to give this a try.  kdradant@telus.net
