Why Lack Wisdom?
The world is complicated

- An explosion of regulation
A good reason to pray for wisdom:
- to navigate the confusion
A bad reason to pray for wisdom;
- to win in the complicated games of life
1 Corinthians 1:17-31

- Bright ideas that do not actually help
- Most people just want to cope
- Jesus helps
How do we find godly wisdom?
- Come to Christ in faith
- Pray
James 1:5-8 - We can be confident the Lord cares for and guides us. - Draw on the Word of God.
- Seek input from fellow believers
These 4 pillars do not remove all uncertainty but lead the church and individual Christians to stability.
They are not dramatic but outlast the powers of this world. 1 Kings 19
If you lack wisdom, ask God. He will gladly provide it. James 1:5
