Christmas in a far Country
The Christmas story is full of journeys. Mary and Joseph move to be counted in the census. Angelic choirs travel from heaven to earth. Shepherds leave their fields to kneel at the manger. And the Magi journey from home to a far country to worship the newborn King.
This Sunday (January 8, 2023), churches around the world mark a new season in the church year – Epiphany. The season of light. The story of the Magi will be read and reflected upon in soaring European Cathedrals, storefront churches, and outdoor worship spaces.
