The Place of Healing in the Kingdom

The Place of Healing in the Kingdom

We will examine the story of the healing of the nobleman's son and apply it to our lives.

There was a certain noblan who lived in Capernaum, on the shore to the Lake of Galilee, who desperately wanted to see Jesus.  This man's son was deathly ill.

Put yourself in the story.

  • A Royal offical
  • Desperate
  • His son is dying
    • Willing to do anthing to get help for his son
    • He pleads with Jesus - come now
  • Jesus replies to the crowd "Unless you people see miraculous signs and wonders you will never believe." John 4:48

Three brief conclusions:

  1. The miracles are designed to lead us to Him
  2. The most precious gift Jesus give us is Himself
  3. In the fellowship of His presence we find our true identity

Jesus says: "You may go.  Your son will live."

Jesus calls this man to trust Him
