Pastor's Message - Bob Bahr

Dear Friends,

It is great to connect with you once again.  First of all, I want to thank our Mandarin community for their wonderful contribution to last week’s service.  It was truly a sign of the unifying power of the gospel.  Thank you.

This Sunday, I will conclude our three-week study in the book of Ephesians.  Together we will attempt to unpack Ephesians 4: 11 – 16, where Paul describes the primary role of Pastoral Leaders.  As we study this passage I would ask you to reflect on:

  • The new Lead Pastor we should be looking to engage as we enter this new chapter in our life together.
  • What does it mean for the church to go into the world and make disciples?
  • How effective has the Church been in executing this mandate?

This should be a fun discussion.

I’m also pleased to announce that we have expanded Tracey Miller’s job description to include overall supervision of the church’s ministries, goals, and objectives.  This has led to a change in her official title to Church Administrator.  I am so pleased to have her as my voice in the office when I am not there.  We work well together and share the same values.  Personally, I have great confidence in her giftedness and skills.

May God’s grace and favour rest on us as a church as we seek to honour and serve Him on the North Shore.
