Pastor's Message - Chris Kibble
At a November 2015 church banquet, actor Denzel Washington urged his listeners to live in a constant attitude of gratitude for God's goodness:
‘Give thanks for blessings every day. Every day. Embrace gratitude. Encourage others. It is impossible to be grateful and hateful at the same time. I pray that you put your slippers way under your bed at night so that when you wake in the morning you have to start on your knees to find them. And while you're down there, say "thank you."

We were delighted by the number of people who came to the first meeting of our WVBC casual choir. People of all ages are still welcome to join us as we learn songs in different styles to sing occasionally on Sunday.
Just grab a coffee and join us in the Fireside Room around 10 minutes after the Sunday service for rehearsal. If you have questions, please mail email wvbcChoir@outlook.com.
55+ Mike Little, Mayor of the District of North Vancouver, will be our speaker at the lunch on Friday, October 21 from 12pm to 2pm. The cost is $10, please register below.
He’ll be discussing issues particularly relevant to seniors, and there’ll be time for questions and answers. You can register under ‘Events’ on our website. The last day to sign up is Monday, October 17.
