Message from the Pastor - Bob Bahr

We plan a welcome-back barbecue after our service on Sunday, September 17 as we launch our fall and winter ministries. This should be a fun time together. This Sunday will be a joint service that celebrates our diversity in Christ.

I’ll be sharing with you the latest draft of our church’s mission and vision statement. Many of you have contributed to this statement over the past few months and we have welcomed your input. This statement will be voted on by the membership in a couple of weeks and become the official guiding tool we use in launching and evaluating new ministries.

Following the message, I will have a feedback time where you will have a chance to answer clarification questions. This time will not be lengthy because hamburgers will be waiting for us in the courtyard.

You will also have the opportunity to visit our refurbished Sunday School space in anticipation of our kick-off in the near future.

I would also encourage you to pray for those who are having a difficult time getting out to church on a regular basis. Many of them have been lifetime members of the church. So, let me encourage you to ask God for the name or face of one person you can phone this week and pray for on the phone.

NOTICE OF MEETING
