Samaritan's Purse is responding in Eastern Europe as Russia launches a military campaign in neighbouring Ukraine

A Disaster Assistance Response Team (DART) is headed to Poland to assess how we can meet the needs of those fleeing for safety. Additional teams are prepared to go to other surrounding countries. Ukraine is in a state of emergency as Russian airstrikes pound scores of targets and ground troops move in. Our teams will work alongside local churches and ministry partners to meet the urgent needs of displaced families crossing the border into areas of Poland and other surrounding countries.

We have also prepared one of our emergency field hospitals to be ready for deployment if that becomes a way we can respond.

Samaritan’s Purse also has many ministry partners inside Ukraine, including a robust outreach through Operation Christmas Child. We are in contact with those in the country to see how we can continue to assist in this volatile situation.

Please pray for families as they face fearful and uncertain days ahead, and pray also for our teams and partners.

Ready to Help Ukrainians in Crisis

As thousands of Ukrainians flee their country, we have deployed a Disaster Assistance Response Team (DART) to Europe to assess how we might help.
