We have noted a few learnings from our Refugee Sponsorship Journey.
- We do not need to have all the answers before we step up to serve. We knew very little about Refugee Ministry, but we believed that God would provide, and he has.
- We had our own ideas about refugee sponsorship, but through listening, discernment, and prayer God directed us to His plan.
- God provided for our every need, his love and provision can be counted on.
- God calls us to love everyone, regardless of their ethnicity, sex, colour, language, or religious beliefs.
- God has blessed our obedience with the warm friendship of two families who will each make a wonderful contribution to our country.
Our refugee sponsorship has been an amazing journey where God’s love has provided for every need. We pray that God will bless both of our families and everyone at WVBC who played a role in “loving our neighbour”.
