55+ Luncheon and speaker – October 16, 12 noon to 2 pm, $20
M2W2 (Mentoring Toward Wholeness Together Association) is a prison ministry that has changed thousands of lives over 60 years of service – from Victoria to Kamloops. Based in Abbotsford, it desires to transform the lives of individuals impacted by incarceration through Christian mentorship, resources, and opportunities.
Steve Roukema, its Executive Director, will be our speaker on October 16. His previous experience in leadership of nonprofits and 10 years of pastoral ministry has equipped him to lead the committed staff of 14 and more than 130 volunteers. They mentor people in prisons and help people leaving prisons to rebuild their lives in the community.
