Festival of Lights
One of the highlights of our Church Family's Christmas Season, supported by West Vancouver Baptist's Missions Committee is to decorate a tree as part of the Dundarave Festival of Lights.
We sponsor a tree ensuring some financial and moral support for the North Shore Lookout Society, which looks after homeless people and people threatened with homelessness. As the Festival website outlines, there is music, beautiful lights, and much more. Visit the Festival Website.
This year we will decorate our tree at 4pm on Monday, November 29. Our tree committee will provide the decorations, but we invite you to contribute. The theme is "Light of the World". We welcome something you have to hang on our tree with that theme, though please note the tree is only about 6 feet tall - so there isn't much space. If you'd like to join us afterwards, we'll gather for a user-pay dinner at the Red Lion at about 5:30pm.
