Pastor's Message - Bob Bahr

Dear Friends,

This is the third week of Advent and we will be lighting the candle of love.  This week we will be looking at the Christmas story from God’s perspective; through His eyes.  The birth of Jesus, in the words of Charles Chesterton, “is an expression of the ferocious, relentless, tender love of God for each one of us.”

This Sunday I want us to reflect on God’s relentless pursuit of each and every one of us – regardless of age, race, beliefs, education, gender, tastes in music, etc.  Jesus came to show us what God really thinks of us.

My prayer for each of us is that we may experience in our own lives God’s presence with us during this season of Advent.

John 1:18 “No one has ever seen God but God the One and Only, who is at the Father’s side has made him known.”
